Why we hurt! Chronic Pain Explained TED Talk

In this TED Talk, Dr. Lorimer Moseley describes the Neurobiology of pain from a perceptual perspective.
While watching this video ask yourself:
What is pain?
What is going on when pain persists?
What could happen when pain is associated with danger?
Compare Dr. Boyd’s “How We Learn” TED Talk shown earlier in the semester, with Dr. Moseley’s TED talk.
Note the similarities between how Dr. Moseley and Dr. Boyd present the Chemical, Structural and Functional components that promote learning.

In her video on Neuroplasticity, Dr. Boyd described how our brains change in three basic ways to support learning: Chemical, Structural and Functional. How would this apply to Sensation and Perception of pain related to Dr. Lorimer Moseley’s video on Why Things Hurt
